The Insight

Based in the Sonora valley, Mexico, Campos Borquez, is a four generation produce grower in the need of an end-to-end rebrand that reflected their high-quality produce and authentic brand legacy. We started by developing a new logo and new identity: colors, fonts, layouts, photos, and graphics. We sought to pivot the brand from their current market positioning as a third-party produce grower to establishing Campos Borquez as a standalone differentiated produce brand.

Our design team reimagined what a rebrand of a historic brand could look like. Creatively, we communicated with impact the brands ethos and social well-being initiatives, the premium quality of the product and their commanding role in R&D, and regenerative organic farming. By recreating the brand id, logos, collateral, packaging and website, we helped refresh and reinvigorate the brand.

The soul of brand work and development is discovering the true essence of a brand, defining the audience, aligning brand design with differentiation and consistency in voice and look for the target market.

Once the end-to-end brand work was done, we created a strategic plan to reposition Campos Borquez in the market. We earned brand attention from national retailers for the rebrand and market positioning strategy. To showcase the brand message, we developed compelling storytelling and tag lines on the website, trade publications and direct mail newsletters.

For Brand consistency going forward: we created a brand guideline with a tool box of brand assets, custom on-brand photo library, sales support materials and brand collateral templates that integrated the brands new look to be used for advertisements, editorials, sales support decks, and social media campaigns.
